Full Form of NCR:
National Capital Region
NCR Full Form is National Capital Region. NCR is the name of the metropolitan area that covers the complete territory of the National Capital of India – Delhi. This not only includes the Delhi metro regions but also includes the urban surroundings that belong to UP, Haryana, and Rajasthan. NCR is popular because it is the largest cluster in India as well as in the world and has a population of more than 2.17 crore. The NCRPB or NCR planning board was formed in 1985 with the main motive of expanding the city in order to dilute the population to the neighboring regions and protect the infrastructure of the city. Thus, the NCR constitutes of 20 districts which include the territory of Delhi and the neighboring states of Rajasthan, UP, and Haryana.
NCR Full Form – Additional Information
The population of India is a cause of concern as it goes on increasing rapidly every year. New Delhi is the National Capital Territory (NCT)and thus attracts many to earn their livelihood. Not only has the internal population of Delhi increased, but there is also an addition of migrants from neighboring regions. This has caused congestion in the city with a fear of declining ability to provide basic amenities like drinking water, proper sewage system, adequate living space and easy commuting facility.
What is NCR – National Capital Region?
Taking all the above-mentioned factors into consideration, the Government of India appointed a committee known as National Capital Region Planning Board (NCRPB), which comes under the Ministry of Urban Development. This Board is responsible for the planning and developing the National Capital Region (NCR).
Since the issue was around NCT-New Delhi, it was taken as the core point and the planning was strategized to cover the area in its surrounding. NCR is a classic example of inter-state regional planning and expansion and besides NCT-Delhi includes 7 districts of the state of Uttar Pradesh, 2 districts of Rajasthan and 13 districts of the state of Haryana.
The purpose of NCR is to ease out the congestion and plan the surrounding areas in such a way that there is enough scope for proper development of infrastructure. With well thought out planning, there can be an arrangement for an adequate amount of drinking water, commuting system within the state as well as interstate, proper drainage system. This is important with a view of economic growth as well, because if industries and trade facilities are spread out properly then there is wider scope for employment for the people of the region.
Aims and Policies of NCR
The planning process of NCR started on 15th September 2005 and it has the vision to create a zone of global excellence by the year 2021. The process is developed under National Capital Region Regional Plan-2021. The aims of this Plan are:
§  To promote healthy economic growth and balanced expansion of the region.
§  Identifying and developing surrounding regions to boost economic growth as well as absorb the strain on the Capital’s economy.
§  To provide reasonable road and rail transport to facilitate in-state and interstate commuting within the planned regions of NCR.
§  Consideration of environmental effects and adopting methods to minimize eco-imbalance during the development
§  Development of selected urban areas and making them at par with Delhi with respect to facilities like drinking water, power, transport, communication, drainage and sewage systems, etc.
§  To execute proper town planning to avoid haphazard construction growth.
§  To encourage sustainable growth in the region to facilitate improved lifestyle.
Besides the basic amenities and infrastructure, NCR Regional Plan-2021 also aims to construct expressways and connected rail service for easy transportation and commuting. This will encourage trade and help in lifting the economy. Another step towards better economy is the development of Industrial Estates and Special Economic Zones away from NCT-Delhi. This will help ease congestion and provide employment to many living around the area.
Regions and Plans for Development
The regions that have been incorporated in NCR are districts from Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan. However, the core is NCT-Delhi. From Haryana, the districts are Panipat, Palwal, Faridabad, Jind, Karnal, Bhiwani, Mewat, Rohtak, Gurgaon, Mahendragarh, Rewari, Jhajjar, Sonepat – 13 in all. Rajasthan has only 2 districts Alwar and Bharatpur.
There are 7 districts from Uttar Pradesh – Meerut, Hapur, Muzaffarnagar, Ghaziabad, Baghpat, Gautam Buddha Nagar and Bulandshahr. The aim and strategy of National Capital Region Planning Board are to develop these areas and offer all the facilities that are available in the metro city so that the people are drawn to settle here rather than crowd the Capital.  The available land in these districts can be utilized for housing, industrial estates and regional centers for various activities.
Three types of infrastructure developments have been noted by the NCR Regional Plan-2021. Firstly, there needs to be a regional level large investment to take care of railways, highways and power supply. The second type of development is establishing good inter-state connectivity through rail and roads and making the region environment-friendly. Finally, the third type demands city level urban development and investment to offer a good quality of life to people residing there. Linking the regions with expressways, highways and orbital railway road around the Capital city Delhi are an essential part of planning.
What is the need for NCR?
New Delhi being the Capital city of India attracts a lot of people as they feel that being the Capital there are many opportunities for a better living. There is also a notion that of all the other metros, the Capital city must be having the best infrastructure and thus life there must be many folds better than other places, with plenty of employment opportunities as well.
However, these thoughts may drive the people to their “dream land” but it totally topples the system that is prevalent there for so many years. Added influx of migrants raises problems for the local residents as there is shortage of drinking water supply, improper sewage disposal in the neighboring rivers, etc
There is plenty of scope for development in the adjacent states and it is essential to make use of this opportunity. With a careful town planning, there can be room for a good network of roads, adequate housing and even scope to raise a few industrial zones to boost the economy. NCR not only aims to lessen the burden off NCT-Delhi’s shoulders but also give ample opportunity to the neighboring states to get an uplifted image and attract people to settle there, thus helping the state’s economy. With inter-state connectivity through expressways and railway, traveling for work from one state to another will not be an issue and prompt the people to spread out in want of employment and decent living.
How will NCR Benefit the Masses?
National Capital Region is designed to bring the National Capital Territory-Delhi and adjoining states of Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan on the map as an area of global excellence with the state of art infrastructure and the land of employment opportunity.
Being the Capital city, Delhi may have modern set up, yet for some, the standard of living may prove very high as compared to the income. Hence, if there is a similar living condition at an affordable rate elsewhere, in fact, close to the Capital, then obviously people are going to flock those sites.
This will automatically decrease the existing population of Delhi and put a check on migrants. Good commuting services will ensure that the people are within easy travel zone of the Capital city yet not stay there to create congestion. New industrial estates expand the horizons for work and give the source of income to the State too.
There is no scope for haphazard development in NCR, so the cities will be well planned and congestion free. This helps in boosting the image of the states as well as our country in the global market.

NCR Full Form: Neurocranial Restructuring
Full Form of NCR stands for Neurocranial Restructuring. It is a process of manipulation, which is used to bring back the body to its optimal and original design. NeuroCranial Restructuring utilizes a very careful analysis of the proprioception of the body, which is nothing but the patterns of balance in the body. NCR, by using the proprioception, is said to determine the exact areas of the human skull, which are to be unlocked in order to unwind the body. This unlocking, enables the connective tissues including meningeal system, to release and relax the residual tensions. This, in turn, enables incremental movement of the bony structures to its original design.
NCR is used to treat a huge list of ailments in the body including Alzheimer’s, nervousness, anxiety, autism, depression, muscle spasms, phobias, strokes, insomnia, migraines, headaches, osteoporosis, and various other bodily disorders. The actual procedure involves in endonasal balloons being inserted through the nose and gently taken to the top layer of the throat through the appropriate passageway. The balloon is pumped with air with the help of inflating bulb until it puffs up to the required level in the nostril. With the increased pressure in the balloon forces itself to the throat and at this very instant, the bony joints in the head are opened momentarily, thereby releasing the tension in the tissues.
